In addition, for an article on a research technique that can be applied to better understanding how to position a company's corporate social responsibility dimensions with customers and others, see the following award winning paper.

The article reports on a project I led at HP to determine how useful choice modeling was for predicting real in-market performance of new product concepts. I co-authored the paper with a professor at Stanford.

Srinivasan, V., and Peter deMaCarty (2000). Predictive validation of multiattribute choice models. Marketing Research, 11(4): 29-34.

That article won the American Marketing Association's David K. Hardin Memorial Award for best article of the year in the journal. Criteria for selection were "innovativeness of the research, its usefulness and applicability for other researchers, and the potential societal or economic benefits or implications of the research."
